Which fuse is this? Colours, ratings and types
Start with the shape and marking. Colour helps only after identifying the fuse family.
1. Identify the shape and type
The shapes below are illustrative, not to scale. Compare the actual dimensions, blades or mounting holes and the marking on the fuse.
MINI: Compact two-blade fuse. MINI and low-profile MINI have different dimensions.
2. Colour ↔ Amperage
The values below apply to the selected family.

7.5 A

10 A

15 A

Colour is a clue. Always confirm the printed rating and the manufacturer’s specified type. For example, blue means 15 A in MINI/ATO/MICRO2, but 60 A in MAXI. Do not select a replacement by colour alone.
3. Confirm the position for your vehicle
A fuse found on the floor may be a spare. Do not insert it into an empty slot until you check the diagram. The same amperage does not guarantee compatibility.
