Upload a photo of the diagnostic scanner screen
Photograph the scanner screen or a fault list on a service sheet. We recognise OBD codes and five-digit manufacturer codes, you confirm the readings, then look them up in the catalogue or ask for a shared hypothesis.
1. Add a photo
The photo stays on your device, recognition runs in the browser. Always review the readings before using them.
2. Review or add codes
How to get a clean reading
- Fill the frame with the code list without cutting digits.
- Turn the flash off: screen glare erases characters.
- Hold the phone parallel to the screen, not at an angle.
- Correct uncertain characters manually before searching.
What to do with the result
For each confirmed code you open the record with definition, likely causes and checks. With several codes, the combined analysis checks whether one cause could explain them before you replace parts.
A misread code produces misleading guidance. Interpretation stays indicative; confirmation needs measurements and manufacturer data.
The tool reads fault codes from diagnostic scanner photos, including VCDS, Launch or Autel. Optical character recognition (OCR) suggests codes; check each reading before interpretation.

Vehicle reports
Turn the scan into a vehicle report
What you scanned here is filled in automatically in the report form: the codes read, the VIN and the vehicle details. Pick the type that fits, the rest stays on your phone and leaves as a PDF.
